Some of the stuff is the same at all XTERRA events. This is what you need to know;

COMPULSORY

No matter what course you are doing, be it Short, Medium, or Long, you must carry an Emergency Survival Bag and an Emergency Whistle, both available from Event Registration, Bivouac Stores, or any good tramping shop.

Good to know

Registration is almost always at the Race Venue, or within walking distance from it. Check the Event Newsletter for details. On the day entries are accepted (cash only) with a $7 Late Fee.

Fees

Medium Course $33
Long Course $38
Kids Entry (under 16) $20
Late Entry Fee (from 5pm Wednesday before the event) $7

Late Fee

Distances

It can be a bit iffy to refer to Trail Runs in terms of distance because so much depends on the nature of the trail. It’s generally more accurate to talk about the time it takes to complete the trail. We tell you the times in course descriptions, but everybody wants to know, so;

Short Course 5km to 7km
Medium Course 10km to 14km
Long Course 17km to 20+km

Kids

Anybody under 16 is welcome to enter any Short XTERRA event, but they must be accompanied by a fee paying adult who runs WITH THEM for the entire event. No exceptions.

XTERRA Wellington is an OutdoorsMark certified event and we take your fun and your safety very seriously.
We encourage you all to be responsible track users so please plan to take the following with you:

Recommended

Map, Hydration Pack/Belt, Spare long sleeve base layer (wool or polyprop), Rain proof jacket, Beanie, Gloves, Basic first aid kit.
